The Interdisciplinary Training in Cardiovascular Research (T32 HL 007249) is a T32 Ruth L. Kirschstein Institutional National Research Service Award. The purpose of this Kirschstein-NRSA training program is to enable institutions to recruit individuals selected by them for predoctoral and postdoctoral research training in specified shortage areas. The goal of this program is to prepare qualified predoctoral and/or postdoctoral trainees for careers that have a significant impact on the cardiovascular health-related research needs of the Nation.
